Who else wants another revenue source?
How about one that is passive? Something that would just put money in your pocket regularly for doing what you do everyday anyway?
Before you get your defenses up and think this is some hard sell job, let me tell you that this is not going to be some long sales letter with pictures of my paypal account.
I just had one of those “A HA!” moments and I genuinely wanted to share this with you.
What if I told you that I could compliment the work you do to promote yourself as a realtor, with a passive opportunity to create additional income more or less on auto pilot?
Ahh... the old income on auto pilot... we've all heard that one before right? But this is not some cheezy overpriced $97 ebook that I want you to buy.
What I'm talking about is a very solid and proven strategy that combines social media, a custom software platform that we've been developing for over 3 years now, and a new twist... something that was so simple it was staring me in the face for months, and yet I missed it.
Instead of charging realtors for the killer software we were creating, we needed to figure out a way to pay them to use it.
I've known this for months now, and yet the “how” of it escaped me.
If I could just figure out a REAL WAY to put money back in the pockets of realtors, I'd have no trouble getting people to use our software, they'd be lined up around the block to use it.

Before I tell you how you can make more money doing what you're doing already, let me tell you a short story.
I've been working for the last 3 years with a specific realtor. Many of you who have been following my blogs are familiar with Rick and of course many more of you I met through him.
Rick Stonehouse is one of those rare visionary guys that can see where things are going, and isn't afraid to spend his money to position himself at the front of the pack when it comes to marketing and technology.
And let me tell you, he's invested heavily. I know this because I've spent that money building a marketing system that has helped him effectively dominate his area to where he now commands most of the top page of google for related search terms, he lists 90% of the houses that sell in the area and he has very clearly established himself as “the local area expert” when it comes to real estate in his area.
That's what every agent strives for right? Being in a league of their own where they control the lions share of the business in the area and there really is no competition.
But I also knew that Rick is a very rare breed. If I wanted my company to succeed I couldn't rely on getting too many Rick's because they were few and far between. Not everyone was going to be willing to spend the better part of a half a million dollars on growing their business online.
I knew that while were developing this “perfect system” that would let Rick grow and manage his business on the web, we had to make it so that once we had the system all figured out, we could replicate it at the touch of a button.
So that's what I did.
I built a software system that could replicate his (or any) business process.
Huh? You say?
Think about it...
If all your contacts, all your documents, all your marketing materials, your listings, your products, your whole business process was built into a website... then how hard would it be to copy paste it to another website?
Isn't that what a franchise is?
A system that has been proven to make money so people are willing to pay for that roadmap and experience and all they have to do is apply that knowledge and they will also prosper?
So what if you could take your whole business and CLONE IT. Just make a copy and install it on someone else's machine... do you think that would increase your income opportunities?

Here's the deal.
I want to tell you, but I don't want to publish it publicly.
There are a few reasons for this and let me tell you what they are to alleviate any concerns you may have over why not.
First of all, this is one of those things that you don't want to have too much competition for. One person in each area will do very well with this strategy, but if everyone starts to do it, it will dilute the effect.
Secondly, I can only work with a limited number of agents at once. I have a small team and the reality is that we simply are not equipped at this point to handle a huge spike in demand, so I want to limit the number of projects that we're doing as well.
Finally, I'm not sure how long I'll be able to offer this to other agents directly.
We have been negotiating with several brokerage firms who want this technology for themselves. They know how powerful this system is and they also know that they can get more money from their agents if they are the ones that are bringing in the leads. They can charge much more than they do now on simple desk and deal fees and they want to make sure that they're the only ones that have access to this technology.
All of them, without exception want us to NOT SELL DIRECTLY to agents. (I have to say that at some point we'll probably have to cave in to them)... While you may have heard that people weren't investing right now... let me tell you for sure that the smart ones are investing in their own process and technology. Revamping it now while they have some time to breath so they'll be ready when the market changes again.
The smart ones will come out of this recession with a new, more powerful business model that puts them in front of the customer before the agents get there, and if that's the case, they'll be cutting into your commission... that's just a reality.
I'm not big on exclusives, I've always felt like it limited my ability to manage the growth of my own company and profit from my ideas.
However, I do understand the need to protect a territory and while I don't want to sign a broker level exclusive at this time, I do see the need to limit to only one participant per area.
So I want to ensure that I work with only one person from each area that we are developing so that I ensure the best chance for success for both of us.
This is one of those very real times when you want to take action. We're going to share this opportunity with a select number of agents because it's just so damn powerful that I'd hate to have everyone using this strategy, it would ruin it for the rest of us.
